This is a pretty clutch bag probably dating from the
1950’s. It is a solid box, type bag with a rigid gold
coloured metal frame and clasp. It is lined in silky black
fabric with an internal pocket and is in good condition
inside. There is some slight wear to edges where fabric is
a little shiny and some discolouration to the metal . It is
stamped on the side ‘LBF Made In England’. The
embroidery features pink roses and blue forget-me-not's.

“ORCHIDS” PRETTY 1950’s PAINTED FLORAL BROOCH
This is one of the most striking brooches I have seen in a long time a pair of delicately painted orchids – one pink and one yellow both are tipped with gold paint. Everything about them is exquisite,
Set in goldtone metal they measure 3 ¼” long and they are from the 1950’s.
Without damage the safety clasp fits tightly
1920’s/30’s Vanity Set.
A very pretty vanity set dating to the 20’s or 30’s. It is in excellent vintage condition in it’s original matching floral box with silky lining. The set is complete with matching hand mirror, brush and comb. The condition is wonderful for it’s age with only a small mark on the front of the box and a couple of age related discolouration marks on the glass of the mirror. The box measures 9.5’’ x 4’’ x 2.5’’

“Regency Lovers” Lander Powder Tin
Very pretty tin that held talcum powder which was produced by Lander of New York.
The picture on the top is of a pair of Regency style lovers – her in her Crinoline dress and him strumming a love song with his lute whilst sitting in a garden. This was a very popular theme in the 1930’s. Around the sides it is decorated with a bunch of flowers tied up with blue ribbon. On two sides it reads Poudre de Toilette and on the other two, Lander New York NY and on either side of that Birmingham NY and Memphis Tenn. It also has gilding decoration

Devonshire Violets Gift Set – Boots
Holiday souvenir of a boxed gift set of Devonshire Violets soap and perfume for the Devon resort of Dawlish made for Boots the Chemist.
Box is deco style green leaves with a photograph on the top of Red Rock and the Boating Cove.
There is miniature wrapped soap which still has a feint scent to it together with a bottle which is ¾ full of violet perfume. The glass bottle has a green and gilt screw top which unscrews but the rubber stopper has stuck inside the bottle which means unfortunately you cannot use the perfume.
Box is in good condition with just some minor buffing.
Looking at the photograph on the front I would date this little

1950’s Vanity Pencil
This is a very sweet original 50’s vanity pencil designed to
fit in your handbag. It has twist up lead and is decorated
with a silky tassel. It is a lovely shade of mint green and
white with gold coloured detail and is still in it’s original
box. It appears to be unused although the box is a little
worn.
It measures in 6.5 cm's in length.
Floral Necklace and Matching Earrings
How nice it is to find a set still together and this pair will not disappoint.
Three string necklace of floral and ovaloid shape beads with large round bead clasp set on a gilt mount together with matching clip on earrings which I would say date from the 1950’s
They are in the prettiest shades of iridescent greens and really catch the light beautifully.
The necklace is marked JM West Germany and the earrings are just marked W. Germany
Pink Roses Lucite Brooch
These brooches were very popular in in the 193’s and 1940’s and this is a pretty example featuring the large roses and 2 smaller ones in pink.
Brooch Measures 2 ¼” x 1 ¼” and the pin on the back is made of gilt.
In nice condition with some slight scratching to the front but this is commensurate with age and does not detract from it in any way.

Shabby Chic French Hand Painted Pot
This is the most adorable little French hand painted pot. I am unsure if it is paper mache or a very light wood and I would think dates to the early part of the 1900’s.
The top is painted with three little roses and an unidentified blue flower. Around the sides are little leaves on branches. Over the years the pot has gently faded from a very pretty blue (as can be seen on the base and inside the lid) to a pale creamy green and the lid is cream with a tan rim. There is a tiny chip out of the paint on one of the flowers.
This little pot measures just 2” round and is just exquisite and would look in your country style shabby chic bedroom.

1930’s Crinoline Lady Dressing Table Set
This is a lovely wooden dressing table set probably dating to around the 1930’s or 1940’s. It is decorated with beautifully hand painted crinoline ladies and cottage garden flowers. The colours are lovely delicate duck egg greeny blue with pink and blue hollyhocks or lupines. It includes a tray, two candlesticks, a goblet shaped bowl, a dish, and a lidded bowl. The candlesticks are lined with brass. It is in wonderful condition and appears to be as good as new. It is very unusual; I have never seen anything like this before so possibly it was handmade as a one off. This would make a lovely Christmas present. The tray measures 14’’ wide; the candlesticks are 6’’ tall.
